Zeus Waterfall – the most important information needed for the journey

Location – Greece, Enipeas Gorge

  • The Zeus waterfall is located in Litochoro in translation means a stone place. It is located next to the Enipeas River gorge. The path leading to the Aphrodite bathtub is protected on the right with barriers, on both sides we can see large vegetation and steep rocks. When we cover the route of the gorge, it becomes narrower and leads with a zigzag, it is not a long and matching path but pleasant and calming down, we are not created for people with fear of height.

History and myth about the Enipeas Gorge

  • There are 12 gods in Greek mythology, while the story of two of them has a special connection with the waterfall and the Enipeas River. Zeus was a god of lightning and Aphrodite is a goddess of beauty. Zeus, playing with his skills, inadvertently hit the rock, creating a waterfall. Aphrodite, after her betrayals, went to wash the body of all wines under the waterfall. Zeus, noticing the Aphrodite constantly bathing there, created a convenient place for her today called the “bathtub", in this way their names were created.

Greece – religion

  • Greece is an Orthodox country, according to their constitution, it has the status of a state religion. On the way to the Zeus waterfall, you can find chapels. There are two types of chapels – thanksgiving and funeral. Thanksgiving can be found in particular on mountain trails thanking for a safe journey and the funeral are placed in places where someone died. Such buildings include, among others, icons of saints, candles, lighters, bracelets made by believers who give you a sick and needy person and there is water from the oil in a glass on which the candle floats.

Ο καταρράκτης του Δία βρίσκεται στο Λιτόχωρο στη μετάφραση σημαίνει ένα πέτρινο μέρος. Βρίσκεται δίπλα στο φαράγγι του ποταμού Ενιπέα. Το μονοπάτι που οδηγεί στην μπανιέρα της Αφροδίτης προστατεύεται στα δεξιά με εμπόδια, και στις δύο πλευρές μπορούμε να δούμε μεγάλες βλάστηση και απότομους βράχους. Όταν καλύπτουμε τη διαδρομή του φαραγγιού, γίνεται στενότερη και οδηγεί με ένα ζιγκ -ζαγκ, δεν είναι ένα μακρύ και ταιριαστό μονοπάτι αλλά ευχάριστο και χαλαρωτικό, δεν δημιουργούμε για άτομα με φόβο ύψους.
 
Ιστορία και μύθος για το Φαράγγι Ενιπέα
 
Υπάρχουν 12 θεοί στην ελληνική μυθολογία, ενώ η ιστορία δύο από αυτούς έχει μια ιδιαίτερη σχέση με τον καταρράκτη και τον ποταμό Ενιπέα. Ο Δίας ήταν θεός της αστραπής και η Αφροδίτη είναι μια θεά της ομορφιάς. Ο Δίας, παίζοντας με τις δεξιότητές του, χτύπησε ακούσια το βράχο, δημιουργώντας έναν καταρράκτη. Η Αφροδίτη, μετά τις προδοσίες της, πήγε να πλύνει το σώμα όλων των κρασιών κάτω από τον καταρράκτη. Ο Δίας, παρατηρώντας ότι η Αφροδίτη συνεχώς κολυμπάει εκεί, δημιούργησε ένα βολικό μέρος γι ‘αυτήν σήμερα που ονομάζεται “μπανιέρα", με αυτόν τον τρόπο δημιουργήθηκαν τα ονόματά τους.
 
Ελλάδα – Θρησκεία
 
Η Ελλάδα είναι μια ορθόδοξη χώρα, σύμφωνα με το σύνταγμά τους, έχει το καθεστώς μιας κρατικής θρησκείας. Στο δρόμο προς τον καταρράκτη του Δία, μπορείτε να βρείτε παρεκκλήσια. Υπάρχουν δύο τύποι παρεκκλησίων – η ημέρα των ευχαριστιών και της κηδείας. Η ημέρα των ευχαριστιών μπορεί να βρεθεί ιδιαίτερα σε ορεινά μονοπάτια που ευχαριστεί για ένα ασφαλές ταξίδι και η κηδεία τοποθετείται σε μέρη όπου κάποιος πέθανε. Τέτοια κτίρια περιλαμβάνουν, μεταξύ άλλων, εικονίδια αγίων, κεριά, αναπτήρες, βραχιόλια που γίνονται από πιστούς που σας δίνουν ένα άρρωστο και αναγκαστικό άτομο και υπάρχει νερό από το λάδι σε ένα ποτήρι στο οποίο τα κερί επιπλέει.
