METEORS – in English, Polish and Greek
Meteors are rock formations. It is one of the biggest attractions of Greece. Their conical shapes make them look like Disney cartoon. Rock here are not the only attraction here. There are churches placed at top of mountains. Caves made in it were home for many hermits. On top of meteors there were 24 orthodox churches. At the moment only 8 lasted. Meteory są to formacje skalne. Jest to jedna z największych greckich atrakcji. Ich stożkowate kształty sprawiają bajkowe wrażenie. Skały tutaj nie są jednak jedyną atrakcją. Na turystach wrażenie robią również klasztory położone nawet 500 m.n.p morza. Jaskinie wydrążone w skałach były zamieszkiwane przez pustelników. Na szczytach meteorów znajdowały się aż 24 prawosławne klasztory monastyry, aktualnie zostało ich tylko 8. Οι μετεωρίτες είναι σχηματισμοί βράχου. Είναι ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα αξιοθέατα της Ελλάδας. Τα κωνικά σχήματα τους κάνουν να μοιάζουν με το Cartoon Disney. Το Rock εδώ δεν είναι η μόνη έλξη εδώ. Υπάρχουν εκκλησίες τοποθετημένες στην κορυφή των βουνών. Οι σπηλιές που έγιναν σε αυτό ήταν σπίτι για πολλούς ερημίτες. Πάνω από τους μετεωρίτες υπήρχαν 24 ορθόδοξες εκκλησίες. Προς το παρόν μόνο 8 διήρκεσαν.
